Overview

Learn to listen, speak, read and write fluently in Italian. Our comprehensive Italian program examines various aspects of verbal and written communication - including vocabulary, sound patterns, and sentence structures - thus building proficiency and refining conversational skills in Italian. Students will explore Italian culture and social conventions and participate in interactive, practical lessons designed to advance their personal and professional development.

Upon successful completion of four consecutive levels of Italian, students may apply for a Recognition of Achievement in Italian Language Skills.

Note: Students may not use Italian as a course credit towards a diploma or certificate if Italian is her/his first language. Seneca College reserves the right to remove students from courses if the student possesses Italian language abilities above the level of enrolment.
