Board of Governors

The role of the Board of Governors is to give a sense of purpose and direction to the College, to ensure that the College is effectively and efficiently managed, to establish policies having college-wide application and to promote effective communication within the College community.

Part-time students who have completed more than five courses and maintain a Grade Point Average of 2.4 at the end of the last semester are eligible for the position of student representative on the Seneca Board of Governors. The Board consists of community representatives, and one elected member from College administrative, faculty, support staff, and student groups. The term of office for student representatives is September 1 to August 31.
